These cute little ball shaped cookies are a perfect addition to you cookie tray. They are always appropriate for any occasion.

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter
4 tablespoons fructose (fruit sugar)
½ teaspoon almond extract
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon water
¼ teaspoon salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup chopped pecans
⅓ cup confectioners' sugar for decoration

Steps:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Cream butter with an electric mixer until light. Gradually add the fructose and beat thoroughly. Beat in the almond extract, vanilla extract and water.
Combine the flour, salt and pecans. Add to the creamed mixture, a little at a time, beating well after each addition.
Roll doll into date-sized balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 13 to 14 minutes. Roll in confectioners' sugar while warm and then again once cool.

1 (6 ounce) can crabmeat, flaked
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 (6 ounce) jar Kraft Old English cheese spread
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
6 split English muffins

Steps:

Mix first 6 ingredients and divide among the split English muffins.
Freeze at least 30 minutes before serving. When ready broil until bubbly and golden, about 5 minutes.
These will keep 3 months in the freezer. I pack them up in sets of two for easy quick lunches.

1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
16 ounces brown sugar
1 dash salt
1 cup light corn syrup
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
nuts, if desired

Steps:

Melt the butter in a three quart saucepan.
Add the brown sugar and salt.
Stir until thoroughly combined.
Stir in corn syrup and mix well.
Gradually add condensed milk, stirring constantly.
Cook and stir over medium heat to firm ball stage, or 245 degrees on a candy thermometer, about 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into buttered 9-inch square pan or 7 x 11-inch pan.
Cool and cut into squares.
