Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray.
  • In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in salt. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese.

Dough for single-crust deep-dish pie
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups shredded process cheese (Velveeta)
1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
1/3 cup dill pickle juice
1/3 cup 2% milk
Optional: chopped avocado, tomato, lettuce, and bacon

Steps:

  • On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to a 1/8-in.-thick circle; transfer to a 9-in. deep-dish pie plate. Trim to 1/2 in. beyond rim of plate; flute edge. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425°. , Line unpricked crust with a double thickness of foil. Fill with pie weights, dried beans or uncooked rice. Bake on a lower oven rack until edge is light golden brown, 15-20 minutes. Remove foil and weights; bake until bottom is golden brown, 3-6 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack., Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Sprinkle with flour and salt; stir until blended. ¼ cup chopped onion
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup dried bread crumbs, seasoned

1 egg, beaten
¼ cup milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
½ cup tomato sauce
½ cup cocktail sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

⅓ cup milk
½ cup chopped dill pickles
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • To Make Pat-in-Pan Pastry: In a medium bowl, mix 1 1/3 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles tiny peas. Add cold water 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring with a fork after each addition. Mix lightly just until pastry almost cleans sides of bowl. Pat into bottom and sides of an 8 inch pie pan. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
½ cup warm milk
1 egg, beaten

Steps:

  • Place potatoes into a large pot and cover with salted water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until tender, about 20 minutes; drain. Set aside to cool in a large bowl.

2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
2 large eggs
1 large egg, separated
6 slices process American cheese

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink; drain.
