This is a great cheese dip! It's easy to make and has only a few ingredients. Plenty of green onions blend well with the soft cheeses. Slice up bagels for dipping. It's a big hit every time I take it to a party.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
2 (5 ounce) containers sharp processed cheese food
2 bunches green onions, finely chopped, white parts only

Steps:

In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sharp processed cheese food and green onions until well blended.

I served this recipe at a holiday party. It was the first appetizer to disappear, and was one of the easiest to prepare. With all that pork bacon, cheese, and a bread bowl - where else to put this recipe but the Midwestern U.S. states.

Ingredients

1 loaf round rye bread
2 cups shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled into pieces

Steps:

Hollow out top of bread for the"bowl".
Save removed bread for other use.
Mix together the cheese and other ingredients.
Fill bread bowl.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
Serve hot.

Stir in chiles and salt, cooking just until heated through, 1 to 2 minutes. Add half-and-half, and continue stirring until warmed throughout and beginning to steam, about 5 minutes.
Toss together cheeses and cornstarch in a small bowl. Reduce heat to medium, and add cheese, 1 handful at a time, whisking after each addition. Once fully melted and smooth, remove from heat. Serve immediately with tortilla chips. Add additional stir-ins, if desired.
