Steps:
- Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
- Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions, peppers and garlic; cook 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Add meat; cook until browned, stirring occasionally. Add diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, 2 Tbsp. Parmesan and seasonings; mix well. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally.
- Heat oven to 350ºF. Drain pasta. Add to meat mixture in skillet; stir to evenly coat. Spoon half the pasta mixture into 3-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray; cover with half the VELVEETA. Repeat layers; cover.
- Bake 20 to 25 min. or until heated through, uncovering for the last 10 min. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.

- Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and chili powder over medium-high heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain. Set aside.
- In small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese and onion; set aside.
- In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and cold water with fork until soft dough forms. Using fingers dipped in Bisquick mix, press dough in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of pan. Layer beef, tomatoes and bell pepper on dough. Spoon sour cream mixture over top; spread evenly over vegetables to cover.
- Bake uncovered 25 to 30 minutes or until edges of dough are light brown.

Steps:
- Heat the oil in a medium pan and fry the onion for 5 mins until softened and lightly golden. Stir in the garlic and cook for a further min. Mix in the tomatoes and sugar, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 mins. Add a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce and season to taste. This basic sauce can now be chilled or frozen, see recipe intro.
- Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to pack instructions. Heat the grill to high. Mix together the cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Drain the pasta and stir into the sauce. Tip in the frankfurters and spoon into a heatproof dish. Scatter over the cheesy crumbs and grill for 3-5 mins or until bubbling hot and golden. Serve with a simple salad.

- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground turkey, onion, soy sauce, and garlic in the hot skillet until turkey is completely browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir taco seasoning mix into the turkey mixture.

- Heat the oil in a large, wide pan or wok, then stir-fry the peppers for 5 mins. Add the chopped garlic and mushrooms, and cook for 5 mins more.
- Pour in the passata and stock, then stir in the oregano, olives and courgettes with plenty of black pepper. Leave to simmer, stirring frequently, for 10-15 mins until the vegetables are just tender and the sauce has reduced a little. Meanwhile, cook the pasta following pack instructions.
- To make the cheese sauce, pour the milk into a large pan and add the butter, flour, nutmeg and seasoning. Heat, stirring or whisking all the time until smooth and thickened. Stir in half the cheese and allow it to melt into the sauce.
- Drain the pasta and add to the tomato mixture. Pile into 2 or 3 baking dishes, pack down well, then pour over the cheese sauce (it helps to let the sauce cool and thicken a little before using so that it stays as a layer). Scatter with the remaining cheese and the bread.
- If eating now, bake at 200C/180C fan/ gas 6 for 40 mins until bubbling and golden. Serve with a salad.

CORKSCREW PASTA WITH TOMATOES AND BASIL
A simple tomato sauce, made from fresh or canned tomatoes, is the foundation for vast numbers of dishes, but it is also very good on its own. This recipe makes twice the amount of sauce needed for the dish. The rest can be refrigerated or frozen. Use fresh tomatoes, but only if they are very ripe, sweet and flavorful; about two pounds will do. Peel, seed and coarsely chop them before adding them to the saucepan. A pinch of sugar will help to accentuate the natural sweetness. Fresh tomatoes will need to cook about 10 minutes longer than canned.

- In heavy saucepan over medium-low heat, gently saute onion, garlic and parsley in olive oil. When onion and garlic are softened, but not starting to brown, add tomatoes with liquid, breaking them up with wooden spoon.
- Raise heat to medium-high. Cook rapidly, stirring frequently, until tomato liquid has evaporated and sauce has thickened considerably, about 20 minutes. If desired, put sauce through food mill, or process in food processor or with immersion blender. This makes 3 cups of sauce, twice as much as necessary; set aside half in refrigerator or freezer. Return remaining sauce to low heat, and keep warm.
- Bring 5 to 6 quarts water to rapid boil. Add at least 2 tablespoons salt and then the pasta.
- Start testing pasta after 5 to 6 minutes. When pasta is done, drain it and turn it immediately into preheated bowl. Add slivered basil to hot tomato sauce.
- Pour about three-quarters of sauce over pasta. Toss to mix well, and then top with remaining sauce and grated cheese. (Or drain pasta when it is not quite done, finish cooking in tomato sauce, and then top with grated cheese). Serve immediately.
