1 8 oz package cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup ranch (dairy free)
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (we use Frank's)
1 can flaked chicken (or 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken)
2 cups old cheddar (shredded)
1 tsp chives (finely chopped)
celery sticks (carrot sticks, cucumbers, peppers, jalapeños, tortillas, for dipping (optional))

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, ranch, buffalo wing sauce, chicken, and cheese. Mix until creamy and no longer lumpy.
  • Spread dip in a shallow baking dish and bake for 22-25 minutes.
  • Top with chives and serve warm with desired dippers.

Buffalo, NY makes the best chicken wings. This dip tastes exactly like chicken wings because Frank's Red Hot Sauce is the source for the flavor. I found this recipe on-line and haven't found another one since that is as good. Enjoy.

16 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces frank red hot sauce
3/4 cup chopped celery
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Combine cream cheese, hot sauce and celery.
  • Heat in microwave until cream cheese is melted, stir every two minutes or so.
  • Add chicken (two boiled chicken breasts works nicely) and cheddar cheese.
  • Mix all together and put into a 9x13 or oval baking dish.
  • Top with more cheddar cheese if desired.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.

2 tablespoons butter
1 medium yellow onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 celery ribs, diced
1 large carrot, peeled and diced
2 rotisserie chicken breasts, shredded
3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
1 (13 7/8 ounce) can pizza dough
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 cup carrot sticks
1 cup celery rib
1/2 cup ranch dressing or 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing, for dipping

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the onion, garlic, celery and carrots and cook until softened, about 6 to 8 minutes. Add the shredded chicken and buffalo wing sauce and stir to coat.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cheddar and monterey jack cheeses. Unroll the pizza dough placing the long edge closest to you. Cut into six equal strips.
  • Working one at a time, lay dough into skull cavities and press gently into the bottom and half way up the sides. Fill with the chicken mixture, shredded cheeses and a spoonful of blue cheese crumbles. Fold dough over filling and pinch edges together to seal.
  • Bake for 18 minutes, remove from molds and place on a platter. Serve with carrot sticks, celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for dipping.
