The best and cheesiest pull apart bread ever! An easy addition to any menu or occasion. Except everyone will be fighting for a piece!

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 (16-ounce) tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1/4 cup mini pepperonis
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly oil a large oven-proof skillet or coat with nonstick spray. To make the garlic butter topping, whisk together butter, Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, oregano and salt in a small bowl; set aside. Cut each of the 8 biscuits into fourths, making 32 pieces. Spread biscuits in a single layer onto the prepared skillet. Brush with garlic butter topping. Top with pizza sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan and mini pepperonis. Place into oven and bake until the cheese has melted, about 14-16 minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

1 (6 1/2 ounce) package pizza crust mix
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 minched garlic cloves or 1/2 teaspoon instant minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)

Steps:

  • Prepare pizza crust as directed.
  • Pat into greased 12 inch pizza pan.
  • In small bowl, combine butter with seasonings and brush on crust.
  • Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake in 450 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Tastes great dipped in spaghetti sauce.

1 tablespoon yeast
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup non-fat dry milk
3 cups flour
1/2 cup melted butter
8-ounce package mozzarella cheese
garlic powder, to taste
Parmesan cheese, to taste
Salt & pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Dissolve yeast in the warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add sugar, milk and salt. Add enough flour to make a soupy like mixture. Add the rest of the flour, enough to form a moderately stiff dough. Knead the dough until smooth. (Or you can use a Kitchen Aid mixer with the dough hook). Roll the dough into the size and shape of your baking pan. Spread half of the butter onto the bottom of the pan and then place the dough into the pan. Let rise in warm, draft-free place for 15 minutes. Spread remaining butter on the top of the dough. Top dough with mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, parmesan, salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 or until golden brown. Cut into breadsticks and serve with marinara sauce.

PIZZA DOUGH:
1 cup warm water
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 tablespoon honey (or sugar)
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons olive or canola oil
3 cups bread flour (give or take 1/2 cup)
CHEESE GARLIC BREAD STICKS:
1/2 recipe Fail-Proof Pizza Dough from above
2 tablespoons softened salted butter
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 pound grated mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • PIZZA DOUGH: In a large mixing bowl, preferably that of a stand mixer, stir yeast and honey into warm water. Sit for 5 to 10 minutes or until bubbles form and mixture starts to foam. This tells you that the yeast is alive and kicking. Pour in salt, oil and half the flour and mix. Once that flour is incorporated, start adding flour in bit by bit until you get the pizza dough to the consistency you want: slightly tacky, but when you touch it it doesn't stick to your hands. Once you reach this stage, turn the mixer on high to knead for 6 minutes. Turn a timer on and walk away! Resist the temptation to stop earlier than 6 minutes! That seems to be the magical number. The dough should be smooth and easy to work with and the bowl should be clean! Lightly grease the bowl & the dough so it doesn't dry out, cover with plastic wrap and let it rise 1to 2 hours. CHEESY GARLIC BREAD STICKS: Preheat oven to 500°F with pizza stone inside. Mix butter and garlic in a small bowl and set aside. Spread pizza dough out into a 12-inch circle on parchment paper. (This makes it easier to transfer to the pizza stone.) Spread the butter and garlic mixture over dough and top with parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Top with a light sprinkling of salt and pepper, if desired. Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until bubbly and golden. Remove from oven and cool 1 to 2 minutes before cutting. Serve hot, with marinara.

  • Place warm water, yeast and sugar into mixer bowl. Have the dough hook attachment on. Mix gently and let nearly double in size, about 5 minutes. With mixer on low add flour, olive oil, salt and garlic salt. Scrape sides of bowl and let knead for 5 minutes until dough is cleaning sides of bowl. Add sprinkles of additional flour if it's not. Remove dough with floured hands and transfer to a floured countertop. Fold dough over itself a couple times then form into a round. Place onto pizza pan and press into a 12 inch round, larger for a more thin crust. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt then top with cheeses.
  • Bake for about 15 minutes, until crust is cooked through. Remove and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into wedges. Serve with a salad if desired.
