BROWNIE MIX IN A JAR II

Steps:

• Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a quart jar. Layer remaining ingredients in the order listed. Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next layer. NOTE: Be sure to wipe out the inside of the jar with a dry paper towel after adding the cocoa powder, so the other layers will show through the glass.
• Attach a tag with the following instructions: Brownie Mix in a Jar 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13inch baking pan. 2. Empty jar of brownie mix into a large mixing bowl, and stir to blend. Mix in 3/4 cup melted butter and 4 eggs. Mix thoroughly. Spread batter evenly into prepared baking pan. 3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely in pan before cutting into 2 inch squares.

FUDGY BROWNIE MIX IN A JAR

Steps:

• Place 1/4 cup chocolate pieces in small, clear cellophane bag; secure with ribbon. Set aside.
• Layer all ingredients except butter, vanilla and eggs in order listed (sugar, cocoa, flour, salt and remaining 3/4 cup chocolate pieces) in 1-quart glass jar. Top with chocolate pieces in bag; seal tightly.
• Include the following directions with jar of brownie mix.Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan. Reserve chocolate pieces in bag from jar. Place all remaining jar ingredients in medium bowl. Add 1/2 cup melted butter, 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix just until flour is moistened. Spread batter into prepared pan; sprinkle with reserved chocolate pieces. Bake 27-32 minutes or until edges just begin to pull away from sides of pan.​

• Wash and dry jars and lids in the dishwasher.
• Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a quart jar, pack firmly and brush residue off the insides of the jar with a pastry brush.
• Add cocoa, pack firmly and brush sides.
• Add sugar, pack and brush.
• Add chocolate chips and seal.
• Attach the following recipe:.
• 1 jar brownie mix.
• 1 cup butter melted.
• 3 eggs.
• 1 teaspoon vanilla.
• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing and flouring.
• Place brownie mix in a bowl and stir to mix.
• Add butter, eggs and vanilla and mix until well blended.
• Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
• Bake 25-30 minutes.
• Cool completely before cutting.
