- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
- Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, salt, whole eggs and yolks in a large bowl; set aside.
- Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler, then whisk together until fully combined. Mix in the vegetable oil. Pour the chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture and mix until fully combined. Fold in the flour and cocoa.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing.

- In a medium bowl, cream together peanut butter and margarine. Gradually blend in the brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla; mix until fluffy. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the peanut butter mixture until well blended.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in preheated oven, or until the top springs back when touched. Cool, and cut into 16 squares.

- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease an 8x8-inch (20x20-cm) baking pan and line with parchment paper.
- Make the brownies: in a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until thoroughly combined. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold to incorporate. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the batter into the baking pan and spread to cover the bottom. Arrange the caramel candies in a single layer over the batter. Pour the rest of the batter over the caramel candies and spread to cover.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until center is cooked through. Remove the brownies from the oven and let cool.
- Make the topping: combine the caramel candies and heavy cream in a medium heat-proof bowl. Microwave for 1 minute in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until the mixture is thick and velvety.
- Pour the caramel topping over the brownies. Let set for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with sea salt.

With a chewy chocolate chunk-studded base and heaps of gooey peanut-laden caramel, these bars are part candy bar and part brownie with cookielike edges. Super-rich and satisfying, a little piece is all you need. - Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9-inch square pan with parchment, leaving a 2-inch overhang on two sides.
- Prepare the base: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda. In a large bowl, or in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat together the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until creamy, 1 minute. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until combined. Mix in the flour mixture and the chocolate until evenly moistened.
- Transfer the thick batter to the prepared pan and spread it out into an even layer with an offset spatula. Bake until the base looks dry and set, about 25 to 30 minutes. Transfer to a rack to cool.
- Prepare the topping: To a small saucepan with high sides add ¼ cup/60 milliliters water. Pour the sugar and corn syrup into the center of the pan. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat and cook until the mixture is a medium amber color, about 15 minutes, swirling the pan occasionally. Quickly and carefully add the cream and the butter. Take care: The mixture will steam and sputter. Stir the mixture until combined and clip a candy thermometer to the side of the pot.
- Cook the caramel until the mixture reaches 238 degrees, about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the peanuts and the kosher salt. Pour the caramel over the base, using the raised edges of the base that formed while baking to keep the caramel on top. Sprinkle with flaky salt. Let stand until the caramel is completely cool.
- Using the parchment overhang, transfer the bar to a cutting board. Cut into 32 small rectangles to serve.

- For the caramel: Very lightly grease the inside of a 2-cup glass measuring cup with oil. Combine the granulated sugar and butter in a small deep saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. (Don't worry if the mixture looks curdled and then separated-it will come together.) Cook, stirring, until it looks like dark peanut butter, 12 to 15 minutes.Meanwhile, bring the heavy cream to a simmer over medium heat in a small saucepan. - In a medium microwave-safe bowl, combine caramels and 3 tablespoons almondmilk. Microwave on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave 1 minute longer and stir until melted; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine melted vegan sticks, cake mix, flour and 1/4 cup almondmilk. Mix well. Spread half of mixture in bottom of pan. Bake 8 minutes.
