Ingredients

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 lb ground chicken
1 large egg
1/2 cup cilantro, finely chopped
2 scallions, finely chopped
2 teaspoons asian sesame oil
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup oil

Steps:

Stir soy and vinegar together for a dippins sauce; set aside.
In mixing bowl, add ground chicken, egg, chopped cilantro, scallions, sesame oil and salt.
Spread cornstarch in a shallow baking dish 13 x 9 inch.
With wet hands, form chicken mixture into 1 inch balls.
Roll in cornstarch.
Heat oil in a heavy skillet.
Cook the chicken balls in hot oil 2-3 minutes until browned.
Serve with dipping sauce.

These are wonderful as an appertizer, But you could make a meal with some coleslaw or salad, and crusty Bread, the recipe also has a quick , easy, dipping sauce.This recipe is from Dash Recipes

Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken ( not all white breast meat )
1 egg
1/2 c chopped cilantro
2 chopped scallions
2 tsp asian sesame oil
1 tsp salt
3/4 c cornstarch
FOR DIPPING SAUCE -
1/4 c soy sauce
1/4 c rice vinegar
may add a little chili sauce, if desired to your taste

Steps:

1. Combine Ground Chicken, egg, Cilantro,scallions,sesame oil and salt, Mix well and form into 1 inch Balls, Roll in the cornstarch, - Heat oil in pan over Medium High Heat , enough oil to fry as you would hushpuppies, Fry untill firm and Golden, About 2 or 3 minutes, Drain on paper towels and place on serving platter - serve with a dipping sauce if desired.
2. To Make Dipping Sauce - Stir togeather, soy sauce and rice vinegar ( stir in Chili sauce if desired )
