I often take this dish to new moms in our church. It's great topped off with a salad and fresh bread.-Connie Schmidt, Plano, Illinois

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 package (16 ounces) frozen broccoli cuts, thawed
3-1/2 cups cubed cooked chicken
2 cans (10-3/4 ounces each) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed butter-flavored crackers (about 25 crackers)

Steps:

  • In a greased 13x9-in. baking dish, layer broccoli and chicken. In a bowl, combine the soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice and curry; pour over chicken. Sprinkle with cheese and cracker crumbs. , Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until heated through.

1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 package frozen broccoli
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 jar Cheez Whiz, divided
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter or margarine
1 package Stove Top Stuffing (Savory Herbs)

Steps:

  • Prepare chicken in pressure cooker 20 minutes. While the chicken is cooking, place broccoli in microwave safe bowl and cook according to package directions, usually 10-15 minutes.
  • After the broccoli is cooked, mix both cans of soup, half of the Cheez Wiz, broccoli, salt and pepper together. Melt one stick of butter and mix with Savory Herbs stuffing mix.
  • Press half of the mixture into the casserole dish. By this time the chicken should be ready to shred or chop. Add the chicken to the broccoli mixture and mix well. Place the chicken broccoli mixture on top of the stuffing. Add the rest of the Cheez Wiz and then the stuffing on top. Dot with butter.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
