CHOCOLATE-HAZELNUT SWIRL BREAD
Homemade breads are my favorite goodies to give. After delivering these lovely loaves to friends and family one Christmas, people kept asking me for the recipe. I was happy to share it! -Nancy Tafoya, Fort Collins, Colorado

Steps:
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in extracts. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream., Pour half of the batter into a greased 9x5-in. loaf pan. Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle two-thirds over the batter. Top with remaining batter. Sprinkle with remaining topping; press down lightly. , Bake at 350° for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.

- In a large saucepan, combine the coffee, flavoring syrup, sugar and cinnamon; heat through. Divide coffee mixture among four mugs., In a small bowl, beat cream and Nutella until thickened. Gently spoon onto tops of drinks. Serve immediately.

CHOCOLATE CARAMEL HAZELNUT ICE COFFEE

Steps:
- Stir together the espresso, simple syrup, melted chocolate, caramel syrup and hazelnut liqueur in a heat-proof pitcher. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
- Fill tall glasses with ice and fill 3/4 of the glass with coffee mixture and top off with whipped cream.
CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT LOAF
Enjoy a slice of this moist, dense and chocolatey, quick bread with a cup of coffee or tea. For added decadence, drizzle or spread cooled loaf with Chocolate Hazelnut Glaze.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In large bowl with whisk or electric beaters, beat butter with sugar until fluffy; beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt; stir into egg mixture. Stir in milk just until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Spread evenly in greased or parchment lined 9x5-inch (23x13 cm/2 L) loaf pan.
- Bake for 65 to 75 minutes, or until cake tester inserted in centre comes out clean. Let cool in pan on rack.
- Test Kitchen Tips:• To make glaze, whisk 1 cup (250 mL) icing sugar with 3 tbsp (45 mL) chocolate hazelnut spread and 3 tbsp (45 mL) milk until smooth. Drizzle over loaf.

- Add 2 teaspoons or more of Nutella; stir until the Nutella melts.
- Top with as much whipped cream as desired.
- Decorate with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.
- If desired, give it an extra nutty adult nutty kick by adding a tablespoon (or more to taste, and depending on the size of your cup or mug) of hazlenut liqueur, such as Frangelico.Or Godiva liqueur for an adult chocolate kick.
