It is basically, just what the name implies.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 ½ cups peanut butter
1 cup butter
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 ⅓ cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening

Steps:

  • Mix together peanut butter, butter or margarine, confectioners' sugar, and graham cracker crumbs. Shape into 1 inch balls.
  • Melt chocolate chips and shortening in top of double boiler. Dip balls into chocolate mixture and let dry on waxed paper. (Poke each ball with a toothpick for easier dipping.)

  • Roll the mixture into 1″ balls and place in a freezer-safe container lined with wax paper. Cover and chill in the freezer for 1 hour.
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave at 50% power in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until completely smooth and melted. You can also melt the chocolate in a double boiler if you prefer.
  • Dip the peanut butter balls, one at a time, in the melted chocolate using a small fork. Tap the fork on the side of the bowl a few times to let the excess chocolate drip off.
