HOMEMADE NUTELLA (CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT SPREAD)
Steps:
- Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water.
- Once chocolate is melted, remove from stove and stir in the hazelnut butter, cacao powder, honey, vanilla, salt, coconut oil and water or milk with a spoon.
- Store in an airtight container.

A chocolaty variation of a cinnamon roll and not too sweet either.

Steps:
- Put bread flour, milk, white sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, egg, yeast, and salt in a bread machine; set to "dough" cycle and press Start.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and 9x12-inch baking dish and line with parchment paper.
- Transfer dough to a floured work surface and punch dough. Roll dough into a large rectangle. Spread 2 tablespoons softened butter over dough and top with chocolate-hazelnut spread. Sprinkle hazelnuts over chocolate layer. Roll dough around the filling into a log shape; cut into 12 even portions. Arrange rolls in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven until rolls are cooked through, about 25 minutes.

- Place the hazelnuts in a single layer on a baking tray and roast for 8-12 minutes, until fragrant. Remove the nuts from the oven and let them cool slightly. Dump the warm nuts into a towel and use the towel to rub them together so that the skins come off. (If not all the skins come off, that is ok and won’t affect the flavor of your nutella too much.)
- Place the de-skinned, roasted hazelnuts into the bowl of your food processor. Process until the nuts are fine. Then continue processing until they form a paste.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl of your food processor and process until smooth. Add a little more oil if you like your spread a bit thinner. (The spread will thicken slightly as it cools.)
