Cinnamon Sugar Vanilla Wafers Recipe

  1. sugar
  2. butter
  3. eggs
  4. vanilla extract
  5. baking powder
  6. all-purpose flour
  7. milk
  8. cinnamon sugar


  1. mix 1 1 / 2 cup sugar and butter in large mixer bowl
  2. cream with electric mixer until light and fluffy
  3. beat in eggs and vanilla extract
  4. gradually add baking powder to sifted flour and sift again
  5. gradually add to the butter mixture , mixing well
  6. stir in the milk and combine well
  7. cover and chill at least 2 hours
  8. preheat oven to 400 and lightly grease cookie sheets
  9. set aside
  10. lightly flour your work surface and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar
  11. roll cold dough to 1 / 8-inch thickness and cut with 2-inch cookie cutters
  12. place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets
  13. sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
  14. bake 6-8 minutes
  15. remove from sheets and place cool on wire racks
