Number Of Ingredients 8

1 (7-ounce) jar or can organic tomato paste
3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
3 tablespoons spicy Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons BBQ seasoning mix
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
4 cups water

Steps:

  • Whisk all the ingredients together in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to maintain a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until reduced by about half or to desired thickness, about 1 hour.
  • Cool completely before transferring to an airtight container and storing in the refrigerator.
  • Cook's Note: Use the BBQ sauce within 1 week or freeze for up to 6 months.

1 tablespoon canola oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 onion, diced
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup molasses
1/3 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons minced chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
4 tablespoons distilled vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Dash salt

Steps:

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the garlic and onions and cook for 5 minutes, stirring, being careful not to burn them. Reduce the heat to low. Add the ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, chipotle peppers, vinegar (or less to taste), Worcestershire sauce and salt and stir. Allow to simmer for 20 minutes. Taste after simmering and add whatever ingredient it needs (more spice, more sugar, etc.).

1 (46 fluid ounce) bottle ketchup
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 cup white sugar
½ cup butter
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
¼ cup Texas style hot sauce

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan or soup pot, stir together the ketchup, cider vinegar, sugar, butter, red pepper flakes and hot sauce. Cook over medium heat until the butter is melted and the sauce is heated through. Use right away, or store in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in jar or bottle, shake well.

2/3 cup prepared yellow mustard

2 cups Bourbon or 2 cups tennessee whiskey

Steps:

  • Melt butter,add onion and garlic. Saute until onions are golden brown. Stir remaining ingriediants. Reduce heat to low and cook til thickens.
