Chicken for College Student I made this in college in my crockpot and always got good reviews. My French grandmother called it "Parisian Chicken" and you will see variations of it all around.

Ingredients

6 -8 pieces chicken, skinned
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup vermouth or 1/2 cup dry white wine
2 tablespoons onions, minced (optional)
1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
pepper
paprika
2 tablespoons flour (up to 1/4 cup, larger amount if making in crockpot)

Steps:

Mix soup, mushrooms, sour cream, wine, onion and garlic, pepper to taste, and flour in crockpot or casserole dish.
Add chicken and make sure all pieces are coated with mixture. Sprinkle top with paprika.
Cover crockpot or casserole. Cook on low setting in crockpot for 6 hours (or you can start with frozen chicken and cook for 8 hours in crockpot) or about 1-1/2 hours in the oven at 375 degrees (deeper casserole dishes take longer than flat ones).
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice or noodles.

Chicken and broccoli alfredo. I had to kick off this list with a pasta dish. Because pasta is life. This creamy, cheese and garlicky dish is basically heaven on a plate.
Moroccan chicken goujons. Hello? Is that fancy pants calling? I think they want their recipe back because this is INCREDIBLE. All you need for this crispy coating is a Moroccan spice mix which you can pick up from most supermarkets in the spices aisle, flour, breadcrumbs, eggs and oil - lots of store cupboard essentials.
Clean eating chicken, cauliflower rice and beans. One pot meals are the ultimate student lifesaver. Minimal washing up and usually edible from a bowl with a spoon.
BBQ chicken pizza. Obviously, I couldn't write a savory food listicle without some sort of pizza. It's probably my favorite food. Making my own pizzas is probably one of my favorite things to do in the kitchen, too.
Baked chicken with peppers and mushrooms. Another one-dish wonder! All you need for this dream is chicken, onions, mushrooms, peppers and cheese. Serve with courgette or your usual spaghetti fave for a tasty dish.
