Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut 1/2-inch-thick slice off top of bread loaf; set aside. Hollow out interior of loaf. Reserve removed bread for making croutons or another use. Spread inside of bread loaf with mayo.
- Fill bread shell with layers of half each of the turkey, cheese and bacon; top with vegetables. Repeat layers of turkey, cheese and bacon. Cover with top of bread; wrap in foil.
- Bake 30 min. or until sandwich is heated through and cheese is melted. Let stand 10 min. before cutting into wedges to serve. (Or to serve as a cold sandwich, do not wrap in foil and omit the baking step.)

Steps:
- Cook the Texas toast on a griddle over medium heat, using lots of butter. Set aside.
- Fry the sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat, flattening with the spatula as they cook. Set aside.
- Mix the eggs, half-and-half and some salt and pepper in a separate bowl. Pour the eggs onto the griddle in a rectangular shape. Flip to cook on both sides. Cut the rectangle of eggs into 8 squares and set aside on a plate.
- Increase the heat, then jump the jalapeno slices onto the hot griddle. Let them sizzle for a couple of minutes, chopping them with the side of the spatula as they cook. Drop on a tablespoon of butter for flavor. Cook until the jalapenos have some brown and black bits. Remove from the griddle, then set aside.
- Spread whatever sandwich spread you'd like to use onto the Texas toast. Top with a sausage patty, eggs, a slice of cheese and some jalapenos. Top with another slice of Texas toast, then wrap in foil for serving.

- Toast the bread in the toaster until light golden brown. Set aside. Fry the bacon until just barely crisp, and then drain on a paper towel. Set aside. Mix together 2 tablespoons of the mayonnaise with the basil pesto. In a separate bowl, mix an additional 2 tablespoons mayonnaise with the sun-dried tomato pesto. To make one sandwich: Spread 2 pieces of toast with basil pesto mayonnaise. On one piece of bread, lay some roast beef on top of the pesto mayonnaise, then top with a slice of cheese and some lettuce. On the other piece of bread, lay the slices of tomato on top of the pesto mayo. Top with some avocado and bacon. Lift the second slice of bread and place it, ingredient-side down, on top of the first piece of bread. For the second layer: On the top of the top piece of bread, spread the sun-dried tomato mayo. Spread one side of the third piece of bread with sun-dried tomato mayonnaise. Place ham, cheese, red onion and lettuce on top. Top with bacon slices. Place this piece of bread, ingredient-side down, on top of the first piece of bread. Use a sharp knife to cut the sandwich in half (on the diagonal) then again in fourths. (Use large toothpicks to secure if needed.) Serve with chips.

- Adjust oven rack to lowest position and heat oven to 350°F. Grease 9-inch pie plate with softened butter, then coat plate evenly with Parmesan. Combine Gruyère, ham, and scallions in bowl. Sprinkle cheese-and-ham mixture evenly in bottom of prepared pie dish. Combine flour, baking powder, pepper, and salt in now-empty bowl. Whisk in half-and-half, eggs, melted butter, mustard, and nutmeg until smooth. Slowly pour batter over cheese-and-ham mixture in pie dish. Bake until pie is light golden brown and filling is set, 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool on wire rack for 15 minutes. Slice into wedges. Serve warm.
