- In a large mixing bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda.
- Make a well at the center of the bowl and add the rest of the ingredients. Fold until evenly incorporated.
- Pour batter into the greased cake tin and bake for roughly 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cornbread comes out clean.
- Once baked, allow the cornbread to cool. Portion and serve along with any preferred vegetables or protein dishes.
