3 Tablespoons Water
3 Tablespoons White Sugar
1 Teaspoon Coconut Extract
2 12 Ounce Cans Lemon Lime Soda ((I used Sprite))
Blue Food Coloring

Steps:

  • In a small microwave safe bowl stir water and sugar together. Heat for 30-60 seconds or until sugar is dissolved.
  • Pour into a pitcher or punch bowl. Stir in soda, coconut extract, and food coloring.
  • Serve over ice.

2 Tablespoons sugar
16 oz. lemon-lime soda (e.g., Sprite or 7up)
½ teaspoon coconut extract
3-4 drops blue food coloring
Shark gummies, optional
Swedish fish, optional

Steps:

  • To create a simple syrup, combine water and sugar in a small microwavable bowl and microwave for 45 seconds. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Allow the simple syrup to cool to room temperature.
  • Add the cooled simple syrup, Sprite, coconut extract, and food coloring to a pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  • Serve over ice, adding shark gummies or Swedish fish if desired.

Sonic Ocean Water is a cool and refreshing beverage that's supposed to look like-and remind us of-the ocean. Here's a copycat Sonic Ocean Water recipe that tastes just like the real thing!

Number Of Ingredients 5

3 Tbsp cold water
2½ Tbsp to 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tsp coconut extract
2 (12-oz) cans Sprite or any lemon lime soda, for low calorie, you can use Sprite Zero
3-4 drops blue food coloring

Steps:

  • Combine the sugar and water in a small microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 45 seconds. Mix until sugar is completely dissolved. If needed put back in microwave for another 20 seconds. Mix again. allow sugar syrup to cool completely. Add coconut extract. Mix. In a large measuring cup or bowl with spout, pour soda in. Pour syrup mixture with extract into soda. Mix gently. Add drops of food coloring to desired color. Fill 2 medium to large cups or glasses ice to the top. Pour mixture into each cup. Grab some straws and sip away!   • Pour into a pitcher and add coconut extract, soda and food coloring. Mix well.
  • Add ice right before serving. ENJOY!
