COPYCAT STARBUCKS ICED GREEN TEA RECIPE



Copycat Starbucks Iced Green Tea Recipe image

Now you no longer have to wait in line for a cup of refreshing iced green tea. Discover how you can make this beverage in your own kitchen with this recipe.

8 cups (2 quarts) water
6 bags preferably Tazo Zen green tea
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
lemon slices

Steps:

  • In a small pot, bring the 1 cup of water and sugar to a boil.
  • Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved, then set aside to cool.
  • In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the tea bags and remove from the heat. Allow to steep for at least 20 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and chill the tea.
  • Fill a glass with ice. Add enough tea concentrate to fill ¾ of the glass and top the remaining off with syrup, if preferred.
  • Garnish with lemon slices.
