Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package noodles (I use wide)
1 tablespoon butter
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup cottage cheese
1/3 cup green onion
2 tablespoons melted butter

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cook noodles and drain.
Brown beef in butter.
Add tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce.
Combine softened cream cheese with cottage cheese and sour cream.
Add onions and green pepper.
Butter a casserole dish and spread half the noodles on the bottom.
Cover with cheese mixture.
Spread the remaining noodles on top.
Pour the melted butter over it.
Add the tomato beef mixture cook in the oven until heated through.

I grew up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin, so it's only natural I have a lot of recipes that use dairy ingredients. Our farm also had a lot of hickory trees, so we always made this fudge with hickory nuts. I make this candy nearly every Christmas. You'll find it's hard to eat just one piece.

Ingredients

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter
2 pounds white candy coating, coarsely chopped
1 to 1-1/2 cups chopped pecans, walnuts or hickory nuts

Steps:

In a bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy; set aside. In the top of a double boiler, melt butter. Add almond bark; heat and stir until melted and smooth. , Pour over the cream cheese; beat until smooth and glossy, about 7-10 minutes. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 9-in. square pan. Store in the refrigerator.
