- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil; cook rotini at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain pasta and add to a large bowl with extra-virgin olive oil. Stir well, and refrigerate, about 30 minutes, while preparing the other ingredients.
- Combine bell pepper, broccoli, carrots, crabmeat, olives, and onion in a bowl. Add to pasta.
- Stir together mayonnaise, balsamic vinaigrette, Italian seasoning, and black pepper for the dressing in a small bowl and pour over the pasta salad. Mix to combine. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and serve at room temperature or chilled.

I've been making this for years. I usually just "chop and dump", so I've gotten the proportions as close as I can, I think. Add more or less mayo, if you like, because I usually don't measure. The same with the tarragon and dill weed. Add more if you like it, less if you don't.

Saw this recipe on Taste of Home and had to try it. Their recipe called for a creamy Italian Salad Dressing and I used a Lite version, and called for 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, which was the only thing I did not have on hand, so I left it out. This salad is so quick and easy and is perfect for a hot summer day. So quick and easy, perfect for a Hot Summer Day! It is sure to be a family favorite and the summer has just begun!
