Steps:
- Either butter or use a non-stick spray to grease a 9-x-13-inch baking dish. Place half the bread cubes in a single layer, filling in all the gaps.
- Evenly scatter the cream cheese cubes, nuts, and cherries or cranberries (or raisins) on top. Cover completely with the remaining bread cubes.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Evenly pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes. Gently press down on the cubes with your palms to allow the top layer of bread to absorb the liquid. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
- The next day, preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Meanwhile, remove the dish from the refrigerator and let sit for 20 minutes at room temperature. Bake the French toast covered for 20 minutes; uncover and bake 20 minutes longer, or until the cubes are nicely toasted and there's no liquid puddling on the bottom.
- Transfer the dish to a rack and drizzle the melted butter on top. Run a knife around the rim of the pan to release the French toast. Let sit 5 minutes. Cut into squares, arrange on individual plates, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve along with the warmed maple syrup.

CHERRY FRENCH TOAST BREAKFAST BAKE
This tastes like French toast with cherries and cream. Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated in the microwave or toaster oven. I created this to clean out my fridge and cupboards, but it can be made ahead to bake the next day!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- Whisk eggs in a bowl until smooth.
- Line the bottom of the prepared dish with half of the bread. Bread can be sliced or torn to cover the bottom of the dish flat. Pour half of the eggs over and spread to the edges to saturate bread. Spread half of the pie filling over.
- Line the dish with remaining bread and pour remaining eggs over to saturate; some may leak through below and that is okay. Cover with yogurt and spread evenly to seal the top. Pour remaining pie filling over and spread evenly.
- Place butter, sugar, flour, almonds, and cinnamon into a bowl. Work the dry ingredients into the butter with a fork to create crumbs, adding more flour and sugar if needed to get the right consistency. Sprinkle crumb over the top of the cherry filling. Place the baking dish on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until the center topping is bubbling, 35 to 40 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting with a spatula to serve.

BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE WONTONS
While a little time-consuming at first, these come together quickly once you get the hang of them. Use any flavor pie filling you prefer, but chop any large fruit pieces to make the wontons easier to stuff. Perfect for a crowd!

Steps:
- Cut 4 ounce block of cream cheese in half, then in half again to create 4 pieces. Further cut each piece in half again so you have 8 equal pieces total. Set aside.
- Working with 6 wonton wrappers at a time, separate them out onto a clean work surface. Divide one of the cream cheese pieces into 6 pieces and place a piece in the middle of each wonton wrapper. Place 1 teaspoon of blueberry pie filling over the top of the cream cheese. Do not overfill, as the mixture may ooze out.
- Use your finger to lightly wet the 4 edges of each wonton wrapper. Gently fold in half diagonally to make a triangle, then bring up the remaining two corners so all corners join together. Try not to leave excess air in the wonton, which can cause them to burst. Press seams together to ensure a tight seal. Set wontons aside, covered in a damp paper towel, while you finish making the remaining wontons.
- Preheat the air fryer to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C). Spray the inner basket with cooking spray and place as many wontons in basket as will fit, without overcrowding. Lightly mist wontons with cooking spray.
- Air-fry for 5 minutes. Remove to a cooling rack and dust with powdered sugar. Let cool while you cook the remaining wontons in batches. Best served slightly warm or at room temperature.

- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, 3/4 cup of the cherries, the granulated sugar, and the whipping cream with an electric mixer on medium speed until combined. Set aside.

- Fill each pocket with about 1/4 cup of the cream cheese mixture. Gently press slices together, evenly distributing the filling.
- In large bowl, beat together eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon. Using tongs, dip the filled bread slices in the egg mixture, being careful not to squeeze out the filling. Coat both sides well.
