2 (11 ounce) cans condensed cream of Cheddar cheese soup
½ cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken breasts inside. In a medium bowl mix together soup and milk, and pour mixture over chicken. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garlic powder.
  • Cook on High for about 6 hours. Note: Do not lift lid while cooking!

1 (14.5 ounce) can chicken broth
1 package Zesty Italian Dressing Mix (dry)
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (added right before serving)

Steps:

  • Place the chicken in the bottom of a crock pot and turn to high.
  • Add the 2 cans cream of chicken soup, 1 can chicken broth, and the package of dry Zesty Italian Dressing Mix.
  • I mix mine together before putting into the crock pot, but that is not necessary.
  • Allow the mixture to cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 6 - 8 hours.
  • When it is finished cooking, add the 8 oz. cream cheese and cook for another 30 minutes.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.

I thank you so much, Miss Annie, for your inspiration for this "alternative ranch-flavored" recipe! :)

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 (1 ounce) package hidden valley ranch dressing mix
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 dash paprika
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Steps:

  • Wash and dry chicken breasts and place them evenly in crock pot. Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Sprinkle pkg. of Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing mix over chicken.
  • Drizzle chicken breasts with 1 tablespoons melted butter.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 4 hours.
  • Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter in a medium saucepan along with minced garlic and saute slightly.
  • Add cream of chicken soup, the 8 oz. of cream cheese cubes, 1/2 cup chicken broth, dried Oregano and dried Parsley flakes. Stir on medium heat until smooth.

3-4 frozen chicken breasts, sliced
1 lb pasta of choice
1 stick butter
8 oz cream cheese
1 can(s) (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 envelope (0.7 oz) dry italian dressing mix (i used good seasons brand)

Steps:

  • 1. Place sliced, frozen chicken in the bottom of a crockpot. Cut butter and cream cheese into pieces, and add them, along with the cream of chicken soup and Italian seasoning mix, to the crock pot. Cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 6 hours, stirring periodically to mix sauce together.
  • 2. When ready to serve, boil pasta until it's cooked to your liking. Drain (don't rinse) and toss the pasta and chicken/sauce mixture together.
  • 3. Note** you can also use full chicken breasts. Just shred the chicken after cooking time, add it back into sauce, then mix with the cooked pasta.

3 lb chicken pieces, i use breasts ( cut into large chunks )
1 (2/3 ounce) package italian salad dressing mix
4 Tbsp melted butter (divided)
1 small onion, chopped
1 - 2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
1 ( 8 ounce ) cream cheese
1/2 c chicken broth

Steps:

  • 1. Place chicken pieces in crock pot and sprinkle Italian seasoning over chicken. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. ( I keep checking mine, as my crock pot cooks quicker).
  • 2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a sauce pan and saute onion and garlic. Add Cream of Chicken Soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth. Stir until smooth.
  • 3. Add this mixture to crock pot and cook on low for an additional hour. ( I drain the juice from the chicken, then add chicken back to pot, and pour the cream cheese mixture on). You don't have to drain, just makes a runnier sauce.
  • 4. Serve over rice, noodles or mashed potatoes. You can also add vegetables if you so desire..I have added mushrooms, or mixed vegetables at times. Enjoy!

1 tsp oregano (, dry)

8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup cheddar cheese (, shredded (I like sharp the best))
1 pound spaghetti (, uncooked (can also use linguini or other long pasta))

Steps:

  • Add chicken, broth, tomato paste, oregano, marjoram, and paprika to slow cooker and turn heat to high (or low, depending on how much time you have).
  • Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours.
  • About 20-30 minutes before chicken is done, cook spaghetti according to package directions and drain.
  • When chicken is done, remove from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Return shredded chicken to slow cooker and stir in.
  • Turn slow cooker temperature to warm. Add cream cheese and cheddar cheese, breaking cream cheese up a bit. Cover and let sit for 10-15 minutes to melt.

Steps:

  • Drain and rinse the black beans. Place chicken at the bottom of the crock pot, then pour out the whole can of corn (undrained), Rotel tomatoes, and black beans on top of chicken.

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon ancho chili powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 (1 oz.) packet dry ranch seasoning mix ((3 tablespoons))
8 oz. 1/3 less fat cream cheese, cubed
Hot sauce to taste

Steps:

  • Lightly grease slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Add two tablespoons water.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil and seasonings EXCEPT Ranch seasoning. Rub mixture all over chicken then place chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker along with any remaining mixture.
