This easy and delicious comfort food can be made in the crockpot which makes life even easier!

1 1/2 pounds boneless (skinless chicken breasts)
2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
1 packet Dry Italian Dressing Mix
8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
1 cup Shredded Italian Blend Cheese
16 oz Bow Tie (Farfalle pasta)

Steps:

  • Spray the interior of the crockpot with non-stick spray.
  • Cut the chicken into 1" cubes.
  • Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle the dry Italian dressing mix over the chicken.
  • Pour both cans of soup into the crockpot.
  • Cut the cream cheese into 4 pieces and place them in the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • **If you are home, stir the mixture at about 2 hours into the cooking time to incorporate the cream cheese**
  • /2 hours into the cook time, cook the pasta following the directions on the box.
  • Drain the pasta.
  • Fold the pasta into the mixture in the crockpot.
  • Sprinkle Italian blend cheese on top of the contents in the crockpot.
  • Place the lid back on and cook for 10 minutes, until cheese melts.
  • Serve with garlic bread and a salad.

8 oz uncooked campanelle pasta (2 3/4 cups)
1/2 cup chopped drained oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes with herbs
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes, softened
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (4 oz)
1 package (5 oz) fresh baby spinach leaves

Steps:

  • Spray 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix broth, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper flakes.
  • Stir in chicken. Cover; cook on High heat setting 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until chicken is cooked through (at least 165°F). Stir in pasta and tomatoes. Cover; cook on High heat setting 25 to 30 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring twice.
  • Stir in cream cheese and Parmesan cheese until cheeses melt. Stir in spinach until wilted. Let stand covered 5 to 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir before serving.

1 cup low sodium chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon Season-All salt
1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces medium egg noodles

Steps:

  • Pour the broth into a crock pot then add the chicken & spices. Cook on high for 2.5 hours or on low for 5 hours.
  • Remove the chicken & shred, place back in the pot. Mix in the soup & cream cheese, stir until melted. Cover with the lid & continue to cook on low for 30 minutes.
  • During the last 10 minutes cook the noodles as directed on the package. Once done, drain & add to the chicken mixture. Serve hot.

1 cup sliced green onions

1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth

1 tablespoon olive oil
½ medium onion, cut into strips
1 ½ tablespoons minced garlic
2 (4 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
½ teaspoon chicken seasoning
¼ teaspoon salt
4 ounces penne pasta
⅓ cup heavy cream, or more to taste
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
⅓ cup heavy cream, or more to taste
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup heavy whipping cream
12 oz uncooked rotini pasta (3 3/4 cups)

Steps:

  • In 5-quart Dutch oven, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, until chicken is no longer pink in center. This is my version of a recipe I have had for years. I have no idea where I got the original recipe but I have made so many changes that I re-named it. Also the serving amounts are just estimates because my family of 4 eats large portions compared to the average family. The milk or chicken broth in the recipe are optional because the soup mixture may be the desired consistency if the chicken makes enough of its own juice.

4 -6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
8 ounces of fresh sliced mushrooms
1 onion, sliced (I like mine in chunks)
salt
pepper
garlic
tony chachere creole seasoning
8 ounces pasta noodles (any type you prefer)
1 tablespoon butter (optional)
milk or chicken broth (see **) (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix together soups, mushrooms and onion.
  • Season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste.
  • Place in slow cooker.
  • Place chicken breast on top of the soup mixture, season with salt, pepper, garlic and Tony's.
  • Cook on high for 4- 5 hours, or low for 8- 10 hours.
  • Cook noodles as directed and add to slow cooker at the last 20 minutes of cooking time.
  • At this time add the butter if using.
  • **If the mixture is thicker than you want it to be this is the time you add the milk or chicken broth to thin it to your desired consistency.
