Crescent Chicken Bundles image

Crescent Chicken Bundles are stuffed with a cream cheese and chicken mixture and baked until golden and flaky. They are pure heaven. Buttery, creamy heaven.

6 ounces cream cheese, (softened)
4 tablespoons melted butter, (divided)
2 tablespoons whole milk or half-and-half
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper
2 green onions, (sliced)
4 cups chopped cooked chicken
2 (8-ounce) tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 cup crushed seasoned stuffing, (Stovetop or Pepperidge Farm is what I use)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • In a large bowl, use a hand-held mixer or a wooden spoon to mix the cream cheese, 2 tablespoons melted butter, milk, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes together.
  • Stir in the chicken and green onions.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 rectangles. Try to stretch them a little into more of a square shape. Press on the preforations to seal them.
  • Divide the chicken mixture evenly between the 8 pieces of dough, placing it in the center of each piece.
  • Bring the edges of the dough up to the center to form a bundle and press to seal the edges.
  • Place them on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the remaining 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
  • Sprinkle the tops with the stuffing mix and Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tubes (8 ounces size) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup crushed seasoned stuffing croutons

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, 2 tablespoons butter, chives, milk, salt and pepper until smooth. Stir in the chicken. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual rectangles; press perforations together. Spoon about 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto the center of each rectangle. Bring edges up to the center and pinch to seal. Brush with remaining butter. Sprinkle with crushed croutons, lightly pressing down. Transfer to two ungreased baking sheets. Cover one baking sheet and freeze until firm; transfer squared to a covered container. May be frozen for up to 2 months. Bake remaining squares at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. To use frozen squares: Thaw in the refrigerator and bake as directed above.

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 medium sweet onion
12 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
Kraft Parmesan Cheese
Salt & pepper
2 cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
1/2 stick Parkay margarine, melted

Steps:

  • Boil chicken breasts until done on stovetop. When done, remove chicken from broth (reserving broth for another use) and chop chicken into small chunks. Set aside. Chop onion until fine. Add to the chicken. Stir in the cream cheese until chicken is well coated. Add parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
  • Unwrap crescent rolls. Pinch 2 rolls together at seams to make rectangle. Drop spoonfuls of chicken mixture onto rolls. Fold corners together making a bun shape bundle. Turn over placing sealed side down. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes.
