3 (4 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 tablespoon margarine
3 cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons onions, chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup sour cream
1 cup half-and-half cream or 1 cup milk

Steps:

In skillet, saute sliced mushrooms in butter; place in Crock Pot.
Add chicken broth, onion, salt, and pepper; stir well.
Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 10 hours (on high setting for 2 1/2 to 3 hours).
About 30 minutes before serving, turn to high setting.
Mix flour and sour cream; add to Crock Pot with half and half cream.
Cook until slightly thickened.

7 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 green onions, chopped
1 can (8 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 cup shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese

Steps:

In a 3-qt. slow cooker, layer half the potatoes, onion, garlic, green onions, mushrooms, flour, salt, pepper and butter. Repeat layers. Pour soup over the top. Cover and cook on low until potatoes are tender, 6-8 hours; sprinkle with cheese during the last 30 minutes of cooking time.

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup
2 (8 ounce) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic

Steps:

Season roast all over with salt and black pepper and place roast in a slow cooker. Whisk golden mushroom soup, sliced mushrooms, cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and garlic together in a bowl; pour over beef roast.
Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.

Melt butter in a Dutch oven or soup pot over medium high heat. Add mushrooms and onions and saute for 4 to 5 minutes, or until tender.
Whisk together flour, salt, pepper, thyme, garlic powder and 2 cups of the chicken broth in a medium bowl until smooth. Pour into mushroom mixture and stir to combine.
Add remaining broth and bay leaf and stir to combine. Bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly for about 1 to 2 minutes, or until thickened.
Reduce heat to maintain a gentle simmer. Add half and half and stir to combine. Simmer (uncovered) for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with additional salt and pepper, if desired. Remove and discard bay leaf before serving.
