8 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
1/4 cup butter (melted )
salt & pepper (to taste)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
2 tablespoon sesame oil
2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 teaspoon red wine vinegar
pinch crushed cayenne pepper
2 teaspoon sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Pour butter into a browning slow cooker or skillet.
  • Salt and pepper chicken and brown on both sides.
  • In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients.
  • In the slow cooker, pour the mixture over top of the chicken and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until tender.
  • Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes on each side to crisp up skin (or air fry in Foodi/Air Fryer).

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or boneless, skinless chicken thighs)
⅓ cup low sodium soy sauce
⅓ cup ketchup
¼ cup honey
2 teaspoons sesame oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
¼ teaspoon black pepper
pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
cooked brown or white rice, sesame seeds and chopped green onions (for serving)

Steps:

  • Place the chicken breasts (or thighs) in the slow cooker.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, ketchup, honey, sesame oil, garlic, black pepper (and red pepper flakes, if using). Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1½-2½ hours, or until chicken is cooked through to 165° F. If using boneless chicken thighs, cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-4 hours.
  • Remove the chicken to a clean bowl or cutting board and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Meanwhile, stir together the 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the sauce in the slow cooker and stir. Cook on high for 10-20 minutes, until sauce thickens slightly.
  • Shred the chicken and return it to the sauce in the slow cooker.
  • Serve chicken and sauce over rice, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

½ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons dried minced onion

sesame seeds, or to taste

Steps:

  • Spread chicken into the crock of a slow cooker.
  • Stir honey, soy sauce, ketchup, minced onion, vegetable oil, and garlic powder together in a bowl; pour over the chicken.
  • Cook on Low until the chicken is tender, 3 to 4 hours.
  • Remove chicken from the sauce in the slow cooker to a cutting board. Stir water and cornstarch together to dissolve cornstarch completely; pour into the sauce in the slow cooker until smooth.

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar

1-inch piece fresh gingerroot, peeled and grated
4 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 package (20 oz) boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 tablespoons cornstarch
4 cups small fresh broccoli florets
1/2 cup salted roasted whole cashews
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seed
Sliced green onions, if desired
Cooked white rice, if desired

Steps:

  • Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In medium bowl, mix 1/4 cup chicken broth, the honey, 2 tablespoons of the soy sauce, the rice vinegar, sesame oil, gingerroot, garlic and red pepper. Add chicken and mix to coat; transfer to slow cooker.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until chicken is no longer pink. In small bowl, mix cornstarch and remaining 2 tablespoons chicken broth; stir into slow cooker. Cover; cook on High heat setting 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly around edges and starting to thicken.

1 cup soy sauce
3 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
2 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 Tablespoons ketchup
½ cup honey
½ cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon crushed red chili pepper
3 Tablespoons corn starch
Sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Cut chicken breasts into bite sized pieces then place in the slow cooker.
  • Combine soy sauce, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, ketchup, honey, dark brown sugar, garlic powder, crushed red chili pepper in a bowl and stir to combine.
  • Pour mixture over chicken, add the lid then set the slow cooker on high for 3 hours.
  • Once chicken is cooked keep the crock pot on high, whisk corn starch into about ¼ cup of water then stir into the chicken mixture the crock pot. Within about 10 minutes the sauce will thicken.
  • Serve with sesame seeds on top!

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
⅓ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup ketchup
¼ cup honey
1 tablespoon sesame oil
½ cup onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Place the chicken breasts in the Crockpot.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the soy sauce, ketchup, honey, sesame oil, diced onion, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on Low for 3 to 4 hours or on High for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, until the chicken is cooked through (165 F). When done cooking, remove the chicken from the Crockpot, and place it in a bowl or on a cutting board to rest.

6 skinless chicken drumsticks, with thighs attached skinless
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Place chicken crock pot.
  • In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and tomato sauce.
  • Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours or until chicken is tender.
  • Remove to a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • To Freeze: Cool, bag, label and freeze(package sesame seeds separate and add when reheating).
  • To Serve: Warm in microwave to desired temperature and top with the sesame seeds.
