1 (3 pound) bone-in turkey breast half
2 tablespoons butter, softened
¼ cup whipped cream cheese spread with garden vegetables
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried sage
½ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Steps:

  • Place turkey breast into a slow cooker. Combine butter, whipped cream cheese spread, soy sauce, parsley, basil, sage, thyme, black pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl until smooth. Brush herb mixture over the turkey breast. Cover slow cooker.
  • Cook until turkey is tender, 4 to 6 hours on High or 8 to 10 hours on Low.

6-7 pound bone-in turkey breast (skin intact)
2 oranges (quartered)
4 sprigs of fresh thyme
4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
1 tbls olive oil
1 tbls chopped fresh thyme
1 tbls chopped fresh rosemary
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup low-sodium chicken broth or chicken stock

Steps:

  • Rinse the turkey breast and pat dry.
  • Place quartered oranges and sprigs of fresh thyme and rosemary into the bottom of a large slow cooker.
  • Drizzle olive oil over turkey breast and sprinkle with chopped thyme, rosemary, and salt and pepper to taste. Rub into the skin.
  • Place turkey breast into slow cooker and pour chicken broth around the turkey.
  • Place lid on slow cooker and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until turkey reaches 165 degrees with an instant-read thermometer.
  • Remove turkey from slow cooker and tent with foil for 20 minutes.
  • To brown skin, place under broiler for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and then tent with foil.
  • Slice and serve.

1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)

Steps:

  • Spray 5- to 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place turkey in cooker. Brush with honey mustard. Sprinkle with rosemary, thyme, basil, garlic pepper and salt. Pour broth around turkey.
  • Cover and cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.
