CRITTER CRUNCH

Steps:

• In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter, brown sugar and cinnamon until butter is melted; stir until blended. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Add butter mixture and toss to coat., Place in a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container.

CRUNCHY CRITTERS

Steps:

• Toast coconut in 350 degree oven until lightly browned, about 5 minutes, stirring once. Butter seven 3 1/2-inch bowls; set aside. Melt butter in saucepan. Add marshmallows; stir until melted. Stir in cornflakes. Set aside 1 3/4 cups of the mixture in a medium bowl.
• Stir 1/2 cup coconut, crushed chocolate pieces, and melted chocolate into mixture in pan. Press into bowls to form nests. Refrigerate 1 hour.
• Form chicks from reserved mixture (attach 1- and 3/4-inch cereal balls with peanut butter). Decorate with candies. Remove nests from bowls; line with coconut. Add chicks.

CONCH FRITTERS

Steps:

• Heat the oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 365 degrees F (185 degrees C).
• In a bowl, mix the flour, egg, and milk. Season with cayenne pepper, seasoned salt, salt, and pepper. Mix in the conch meat, onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic.
• Drop the batter by rounded tablespoons into the hot oil, and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
• In a bowl, mix the ketchup, lime juice, mayonnaise, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Serve dipping sauce on the side with the fritters.

CRITTER CRUNCH

Steps:

• Mix all ingredients except ice-cream cones. Serve snack in cones.
• Store in covered container.
