2 lbs cube steaks
salt
pepper
flour (for dredging)
1 (1 ounce) package onion gravy mix
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups water

Steps:

Salt and pepper the steak to your liking, then dredge in the flour.
Fry steak until brown and place in crock pot.
Add water, soup, and gravy mix.
Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.

2 large potatoes, pared and sliced
3 medium carrots, sliced
1 (10 ounce) package frozen peas, partially thawed
2 medium onions, sliced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 1/2 lbs cube steaks, floured, browned and drained
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup or 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of potato soup
1 (8 ounce) envelope brown gravy mix
1 1/2 cups water

Steps:

Place layers of vegetables in the order given. Put in crock pot. Season each layer with salt and pepper.
Put the browned meat on top.
Mix soup, 1/2 can of water, envelope gravy mix, 1 cup water. Pour into crock pot.
Cover, cook low 6-8 hours; high 3-4 hours.

21 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup (2 10.5 ounce cans)
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix (use Recipe Secrets Onion or Beefy Onion flavor)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (to taste)
3/4 cup water (optional, for thinner gravy)
1 1/2 lbs cube steaks (4-6 cube steaks)
1 medium yellow onion (or white onion, sliced)
4-8 oz mushrooms (optional, sliced)

Steps:

Add the cans of cream of mushroom condensed soup, Lipton onion soup mix, and ground black pepper (plus water if desired) to your crock pot. Stir well to combine.
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 21 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup, 3/4 cup water
Put cube steaks on top of the 'gravy' mixture, adding one at a time. Add some of the sliced onions to each cube steak as you add them, in a shingle pattern, over the cream of mushroom base. If desired, top with sliced mushrooms (white mushrooms or cremini).
1 1/2 lbs cube steaks, 1 medium yellow onion, and 4-8 oz mushroomsCook on high for 6 hours in your crock pot.
