1 ½ cups ketchup
½ cup red wine vinegar
½ cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 ½ tablespoons dry mustard
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 ½ teaspoons black pepper
2 dashes hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, water and Worcestershire sauce. Season with mustard, paprika, salt, pepper, and hot pepper sauce. Blend until smooth.

4 tablespoons butter
1 cup minced onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon hot red pepper sauce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 cups tomato sauce

Steps:

  • In a saucepan set over moderate heat melt butter, add onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Add paprika, pepper, lemon juice, mustard and hot sauce and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Add vinegar and tomato sauce, bring to a boil and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes, or until thickened.;

2 cups chopped onions
1 cup strong black coffee
1 cup ketchup
1 cup Worcestershire sauce
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup apple cider vinegar
¼ cup hot chili peppers, minced
3 tablespoons chili powder
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt

Steps:

  • Mix together the onions, coffee, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, cider vinegar, hot chilies, chili powder, garlic, and salt in a saucepan until the brown sugar has dissolved. Place over medium heat, bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce into a blender, filling the pitcher no more than halfway full. Hold down the lid of the blender with a folded kitchen towel, and carefully start the blender, using a few quick pulses to get the sauce moving before leaving it on to puree. Puree in batches until smooth. Store in glass container in refrigerator.

½ cup brown sauce
6 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup white vinegar
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon dry mustard

Steps:

  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, mix the ketchup, brown sauce, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, white vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Blend in the brown sugar and dry mustard until dissolved. Simmer 10 minutes, until thickened. Remove from heat, and allow to cool before using on meats as desired.
