PORK CHOPS AND APPLES
Here's an easy-to-make dish that's perfect when you're cooking for two!

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Place apples in 1 1/2-quart rectangular casserole. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cover with foil; bake 15 minutes.
- Trim fat from edge of pork. Spray 8- or 10-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes. Cook pork in hot skillet about 6 minutes, turning once, until light brown.
- Place pork in single layer on apples. Cover and bake 10 to 12 minutes or until pork is no longer pink when cut near the bone, meat thermometer reads 145°F and apples are tender.

BAKED PORK CHOPS WITH APPLES
This is my favorite baked pork chop and apple recipe that my friends and family just love to death whenever I make it for them. If possible marinate chops in teriyaki sauce, honey, Gulden's® mustard, black pepper, and garlic for at least 3 hours, or overnight.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add pork chops and cook until browned, seasoning with salt and pepper, about 5 minutes per side. Place pork chops in a large ceramic casserole dish.
- Add applesauce, chicken stock, ketchup, brown sugar, flour, vinegar, and garlic pepper to the skillet with the pork juices. Stir until thickened and smooth, about 5 minutes. Place sliced onion and apple on top of pork chops; pour applesauce mixture on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the pork reads 145 degrees F (63 degrees C), about 45 minutes.

PORK CHOPS WITH CURRIED CARAMELIZED ONIONS AND APPLES
A cozy dish that will warm you all over and make your home smell fantastic! Butter-caramelized onions and apples combined with curry powder, applesauce, and a little garlic make this a fantastic dinner with mashed potatoes!

Steps:
- Season chops with salt and pepper; brown both sides in a skillet with a little olive oil; remove to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Cook and stir onions and apples in butter until caramelized, being sure to stir up browned bits.
- Stir in applesauce, apple juice, beef broth, garlic and curry powder.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper; simmer on low heat until slightly thickened, continuing to stir up browned bits from pork chops.
- Pour apple-onion mixture over chops in baking dish and cover dish with foil.
- Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 45 minutes.
PORK CHOPS WITH CURRIED APPLE-ONION SAUCE
This is a favorite pork chop recipe of ours. We like curry, so we always add more. I believe we got the recipe from Bon Appetit. ZWT region West (Washington apples).

- Sprinkle pork with 1/2 teaspoon thyme, 1/2 teaspoon marjoram, salt and pepper. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook until no longer pink inside, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer pork to plate; tent with foil to keep warm. Reserve drippings in skillet.
- Add apple, onion and garlic to drippings in skillet and sauté over medium-high heat 2 minutes. Add chicken broth, wine, cream, mustard, curry powder and remaining 1/2 teaspoon thyme and 1/2 teaspoon marjoram. Boil until sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Divide pork among plates. Pour sauce over and serve.

Tender pork combined with apples and raisins is a family favorite for us! I've substituted dried cranberries for the raisins, and that was so good too! Recipe can be altered if serving more people.

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry pork chops on each side until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish, reserving the drippings in the skillet. Cover pork chops with apple slices and sprinkle with sugar.
- Stir the flour into the fat in the skillet until smooth. Whisk in the water and vinegar. Simmer over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Add raisins and pour over the pork chops. Cover the baking dish with a lid or aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Remove the aluminum foil for the last 20 minutes of cooking.

- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops in 1 tablespoon of butter; drain and set aside. , In the same skillet, saute onion in remaining butter until tender.
