Growing up, one of my favorite Christmas treats was dipped pretzels.

1 c. Dark Chocolate Chips Or Chopped Chocolate Bar
3 c. Pretzels

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.Place the chocolate in a heat proof bowl. Set the bowl over a pan of simmering water. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted. Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Pour the pretzels into the melted chocolate. Very gently toss the pretzels in the chocolate until they are completely coated. Using a fork, transfer the pretzels individually to the parchment lined baking sheet. Allow to cool at room temperature for 2 hours or in the refrigerator for 30-60 minutes, or until firm. Store in an airtight container.

4 (4 ounce) bars 70% dark chocolate, chopped
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (6 ounce) container blueberries, stemmed
½ cup lightly roasted whole almonds
12 thin pretzel crackers (such as Snack Factory® Pretzel Crisps®)

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking liner or waxed paper.
  • Combine dark chocolate, coconut oil, and vanilla extract in top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir frequently, scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula, until melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature, about 15 minutes.
  • Scoop 2 tablespoons of the melted chocolate mixture into a small bowl.
  • Stir blueberries and almonds into the remaining chocolate mixture. Spread on the prepared baking sheet in an even layer. Press pretzel crackers in gently. Drizzle reserved 2 tablespoons chocolate over crackers.
  • Freeze until firm, 15 to 20 minutes. Break gently into pieces before serving.

Steps:

  • Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Put the chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl and microwave 30 seconds. Stir, then microwave 30 more seconds. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Dip each pretzel halfway into the chocolate, then place on the wax paper. Refrigerate until set, about 15 minutes.

Steps:

  • Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl in 15-second intervals, stirring after each melting, 1 to 3 minutes.
