AUSTRALIAN CHOCOLATE SLICE
Chocolate slice is an easy to make Australian treat. It's kind of like a cookie bar, topped with a chocolate glaze.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 320F/160C.
- Butter a dish or deep baking sheet/tin that's approx 11 or 12 in by 7 or 8 in and at least 1 in deep. Line it with parchment paper on the bottom and two longer sides, overhanging the sides, pressing gently into the butter to help it stick.
- Mix together the flour, coconut, sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl.
- Lightly beat the egg and melt the butter. Add these both and the vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Put the mixture into the prepared dish and press it down evenly, flattening the top so it's smooth.
- Bake for approx 20-25 minutes until the firm and the top looks dry.
- Towards the end of the baking time, prepare the frosting/icing. Sift the confectioner's sugar and cocoa powder together in a bowl. Add the melted butter and hot water and mix until well combined. Add a little extra sugar/water if needed to make a semi-thick but workable mixture.
- Once the base is ready, top with the frosting while it is still hot. Try to spread evenly, right to the corners, but be aware if you try to work it too much the top will become less even. Once done, sprinkle with a little coconut while the frosting is still wet. Leave to cool/firm up before cutting into pieces.
- To cut into pieces: it's easier to loosen the short edges of the slice and lift it out of the dish in one piece. Then, cut into whatever size pieces suits (for this size, I suggest 16 pieces).

I was given this recipe years ago by my friend Debbie. I've had it written down on a torn piece of paper for years and decided today that this recipe needs to be on AllRecipes. It is a moist, sweet, and delicious bread with a crispy crust. By far my favorite bread recipe!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a loaf pan.
- Beat eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl; add apples.
- Mix flour, salt, baking powder, and cinnamon in a separate bowl; add to apple mixture and stir just until evenly combined into a thick batter. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cover loaf pan with aluminum foil; continue baking until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 15 minutes more. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

LITTLE DEBBIE STRAWBERRY WHITE CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE TRIFLE
An easy elegant looking dessert that's great for special occasions that contains everyone's favorite little debbie....It's a total kid pleaser!

Steps:
- In large bowl beat softened cream cheese until fluffy.
- slowly add milk.
- beat in instant pudding mix.
- once thickened fold in 8 oz container cool whip.
- Slice Little Debbies in 1 inch pieces.
- Put layer of sliced Little Debbies in trifle bowl so the spiral side faces out (it looks pretty).
- top with half of pudding mixture.
- top that layer with half of pie filling.
- top with half of cool whip.
- repeat layers until trifle bowl is filled cool whip will be on top.
- cover with plastic wrap and place in fridge can be made up to 2 days in advance make sure you keep in fridge until ready to serve keep leftovers in fridge!
HOMEMADE LITTLE DEBBIE SNACK CAKES
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 15x10x1-inch baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cake ingredients and beat for 2-3 minutes. Pour into prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 17-19 minutes, until cake is fully cooked. Allow to cool. Using a 2 inch cookie cutter, cut desired shape snack cakes.
- Place cakes on a wire rack. Slice in half horizontally.
- In a mixing bowl, beat powdered sugar, marshmallow cream and heavy cream until smooth. Spoon filling over bottom half of each cake and add the top of the cake.
- Add one can of frosting to a microwave safe bowl. Heat in microwave for about 1 minute, stir until smooth and heat an additional 30 seconds until frosting is liquidy. Add one drop of pink food coloring and stir until smooth. Place wire rack of cakes over parchment paper. Drizzle melted frosting over each cake.
- Repeat with second can of frosting.
- Spoon all the remaining frosting on the parchment paper into the microwave safe bowl. Heat until liquidy again (about a minute). Pour over cakes one more time.
- Drizzle melted white chocolate over cakes. Allow cakes to set, about 30 minutes. Refrigerate and enjoy!
