Make this healthy, delicious, and easy coconut oil smoothie three different detoxifying ways!

1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1-2 scoops collagen peptides
1 tablespoon coconut oil (or MCT oil) - liquid coconut oil recommended
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1 small beet (about the size of a golf ball or smaller), peeled
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 navel orange, peeled
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/8 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 cup chopped fresh kale
2" chunk of cucumber
1/8 tsp spirulina powder (optional)
1 tsp honey (optional, for sweetness)

Steps:

  • In a blender add in all of the smoothie base ingredients excpet the coconut oil.
  • Next, add in the specific ingredients to the flavour of smoothie you are making (Beautifying Beet, Citrus Glow, or Green Goddess).
  • While blending, pour the liquid coconut oil into the top opening of the smoothie slowly to prevent the coconut oil from clumping. Blend everything until completely smooth.
  • Enjoy!

3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 small-sized beetroot* (cooked or fresh)
3/4 cup pineapple
1/2 banana (, frozen)
1 cup strawberries (, frozen)
1 tbsp of organic coconut oil
1 cup ice ((less if using all frozen fruit))

Steps:

  • If using fresh beetroot: Use a grater to remove the skin of the beetroot, cut into small cubes and add to the blender.
  • *Be sure to wear gloves and avoid staining your fingers.*
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to the jar in the order listed and secure lid. Blend until smooth.
  • For Blendtec: Press the SMOOTHIE Button
  • For Vitamix: Select VARIABLE speed 1, turn machine on and quickly increase to Variable speed 10/HIGH. Run for 45 seconds or until smooth OR use the SMOOTHIE setting.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
