Divine Banana Cream Nilla Wafer Trifle Dessert Recipes
BANANA TRIFLE
Pound cake, whipped cream, banana pudding and vanilla wafers are layered to form this easy trifle that's sure to please.

Steps:
- Whisk pudding mix with milk until smooth. Stir in chopped bananas; set aside.
- In a large bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks are just about to form. Beat in vanilla and sugar until peaks form. Make sure not to over-beat, or cream will become lumpy and butter-like.
- Layer half the pound cake cubes, half the pudding, half the whipped cream, and half the crushed vanilla wafers in a trifle bowl. Repeat with the remaining cake, pudding, and whipped cream, and top with the remaining crushed wafers. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

This is one of those great desserts that everyone wants to know how you make. I ate it at book club and had to have the recipe. It's fairly simple but delicious.

Steps:
- Mix Vanilla Wafers, butter, pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Spread on greased cookie sheet and bake in 350 degree oven for 5 minutes. Stir and bake 3-5 more minutes.
- Mix pudding, milk, and cool whip (note that you are using less milk than you would usually use for 2 pudding boxes).
- Blend sugar, cream cheese, and cool whip.
- Layer crumbly mixture, pudding, bananas, crumbly mixture, pudding, bananas. Top with creamy topping. May be layered in a trifle bowl or in individual cups for easy service at a party or brunch.

Our layered Homemade Banana Cream Pie has a chewy nilla wafer crust, a soft cream cheese layer, creamy banana pudding, fresh sliced bananas, and whipped topping for the perfect easy pie.

- Mix together the crushed cookies and melted butter. Press into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. *Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cool.
- Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and one container of Cool Whip. Spread on top of cooled cookie crust.
- Beat together the banana cream pudding with milk. Let stand for about 4-5 minutes until it has thickened. Spread on top of cream cheese layer.
- Spread sliced bananas on top of pudding, covering the entire pan.
- Spread the last container of Cool Whip on top of the bananas. Let set in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Top with caramel sauce and any additional sliced bananas for each serving.

- Heat a sauce pan over medium heat. Following the pudding package instructions, add the milk and pudding mix to the pan. Stir constantly until the mixture boils.
- Pour the pudding into a mixing bowl and allow the pudding to chill for at least 5 minutes while you prep the remaining ingredients.
