DRAGON FRUIT FROZEN SORBET RECIPE
This recipe for tropical dragon fruit frozen sorbet is made with the bright magenta-flesh variety. It is a cooling and delicious treat.

- Gather the ingredients.
- Place dragon fruit in a food processor or blender . Add water (only if the fruit isn't ripe and juicy), lemon juice, and sugar, if needed. Sometimes the fruit is sweet enough so the sugar is not necessary. Purée until smooth. Taste the mixture and add more sugar, if needed.
- Pour purée into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until frozen.
- Allow about 10 minutes at room temperature for the sorbet to soften before serving.

- In a food processor, puree the chopped dragon fruit, zest, juice, and honey until smooth. Pour into the vessel/canister for your ice cream maker and chill in the fridge for at least one hour. Once the mixture is chilled, churn according to manufacturer's instructions. For example, mine requires I run the motor 2-3 minutes before adding layers of ice and rock salt to the bucket. Then I let it churn for about 25-30 minutes {time will vary} or until the motor slows down considerably. Remove the motor top, sweep off any ice and salt from the canister lid, scrape the mixer paddle, and divvy up into Mason jars. I use my canning scraper to remove air bubbles before placing the lid on. Store in the freezer, removing 10-15 minutes prior to serving to let sorbet soften slightly. Yields: About 3 ½ pints

- Scoop flesh of the dragon fruit into a blender using a tablespoon. Scoop seeds of horned melon and passion fruit into a blender. Add sugar, strawberries, starfruit, honey, lime juice, and raspberry-flavored drink mix; pulse until smooth.
- Pour fruit mixture into dessert bowls. Freeze until firm, about 3 hours.

EASY FRUIT SORBET
Steps:
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Place in an ice cream maker and freeze according to instructions. Or pour into a covered freezer proof container and place in the freezer. Stir to break-up the ice with a fork after the first 30 minutes in the freezer. Continue to stir the sorbet every 10 minutes for the next half an hour. You may substitute the fruits used here with any of your favorites.;
