DRINK ESSENTIALS: CHRISTMAS COSMOPOLITAN
I call this a cosmopolitan because it does have the elements of that classic drink. However, it is just a great holiday drink, so call it what you wish. Served them last night, while watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas... the original. So, you ready... Let's get into the kitchen.

Steps:
- 1. PREP/PREPARE
- 2. Gather your ingredients (mise en place).
- 3. If you are using the cranberries, add them to the freezer about an hour before serving.
- 4. Combine the salt and sugar in a small dish.
- 5. Wet the rim of the glasses with the lime wedge, and then dip into the salt/sugar mixture.
- 6. Combine the drink ingredients into a pitcher and stir to combine.
- 7. PLATE/PRESENT
- 8. You have two choices for serving. You can add the drink mixture to a blender with ice, and serve it up like a slushy, or you can add some ice cubes to a glass and then pour over the ice. If you are using them, garnish with some of the frozen cranberries and mint. Enjoy.
- 9. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
