Easy Baked Salmon image

Easy Baked Salmon is a quick and easy seafood recipe, and the secret is in our 4-ingredient marinade that makes the salmon so juicy and absolutely delicious!

1 pound Salmon ( about 3 pieces) - bottom skins removed
3 Tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil - divided
2 large lemons- juiced and divided
1 tsp. garlic powder - divided
2 to 4 Tbsp. of white wine
3 to 4 green onions
extra slices of lemon, as a garnish
sea salt
fresh cracked black pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to Bake at 375 degrees F, (190.6 degrees C)
  • Use a deep, baking dish just large enough to hold the salmon steaks. I used a medium-size baking dish for this recipe, a 2.5 quart (or 2.3 L ) 8-inch or 9-inch baking dish.
  • First for the Marinade:
  • On the bottom of the baking dish, drizzle 1 + 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil, and squeeze 1 whole lemon, then sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of ground garlic powder.
  • Place the salmon steaks on top of the first layer of marinade.
  • Then, drizzle on top of each salmon with a little extra virgin olive oil, the remaining ( 1/2 teaspoon) garlic powder, and juice of the second lemon on top of the fish.
  • Sprinkle with some sea salt and fresh black pepper. Then scatter with chopped green onions all around and on top of the fish. Then scatter white wine on top.
  • Set it aside and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes to marinate.
  • BAKE for 15 minutes for medium-rare, or until salmon is fully cooked, about 22 to 30 minutes. Salmon should be tender to the fork when touched.
  • Remove from oven, allow the salmon to rest in the marinade. Transfer to a serving plate, and spoon the remaining lemon sauce from the baking dish over each salmon steak and serve.

4 salmon fillets
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp lime juice
1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
1 mango, diced
1/2 red pepper, diced
1/2 red onion, diced
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
Sauteed bell peppers
Roasted broccoli
Roasted/sauteed zucchini
Roasted asparagus
Mixed green salad
Roasted potatoes
Rice

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375. Mix together marinade of choice (with exception of mango salsa), then add to a large Ziploc bag along with salmon fillets and marinate for 20 minutes.
  • Add marinated salmon to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, along with optional veggies of choice. Bake for 12 minutes until salmon is fully cooked and flaky. Serve and enjoy!
  • If making mango salsa, add 1 tbsp olive oil to salmon fillets and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 12 minutes until salmon is fully cooked and flaky. Remove salmon from oven and top with mango salsa - serve and enjoy!

1 1/2 lbs salmon fillets
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • Lay the salmon fillets in a baking dish and spread evenly with brown sugar. Sprinkle with garlic powder, soy sauce and lemon juice. Cover tightly with plastic wrap, refrigerate and allow to marinate for up to 8 hours. Preheat the oven to 350*. Bake, uncovered, for about 15 minutes. Baste occasionally with the juices that accumulate in the pan. This salmon is also excellent barbecued over medium coals.
