Easy Ground Beef Doritos Casserole Recipes

LAYERED DORITOS CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350°F.
• Cook ground beef with onion and garlic until no pink remains. Drain any fat.
• Add salsa, taco seasoning, and ⅓ cup of water. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes, and remove from heat.
• In a large bowl, combine beef mixture, sour cream, soup and 1 cup of cheese.
• Slightly crush Doritos (not completely, you don't want crumbs). Layer 1 ½ cups Doritos in the bottom of a 2 qt casserole dish . Top with ½ of the beef mixture. Repeat layers. Finally top with an additional 1 to 1 ½ cups Doritos and remaining cheese.
• Spray a piece of foil with cooking spray and cover casserole.
• Bake 30 minutes covered, remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Top with lettuce, tomatoes and olives if desired.

DORITO CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9X13 pan with a non stick cooking spray.
• Brown the ground beef with the onion in a large skillet over medium high heat. Then drain off any excess grease.
• Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
• Then add in the Taco Seasoning and Salsa. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
• Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sour cream.
• Pour 1/2 of the meat mixture into the 9X13 pan, top with 1/3 (approximately 2/3 cups) of the shredded cheese and half of the crushed Doritos. Then repeat these layers again. You will have some shredded cheese remaining.
• Cover the pan with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil, top with the remaining shredded cheese and bake for 5-10 more minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
• Top with your favorite taco toppings and enjoy!
