CINNAMON-SCENTED PINE CONES

Cinnamon-Scented Pine Cones image

Since I'm broke this year, I've been looking for ideas for cheap, do-it-yourself Christmas gifts. I can't wait to make these pine cones for my friends and co-workers! While this recipe that I found is for the cinnamon-scented pine cones you find at houseware and craft stores, I'm pretty sure you could probably use vanilla or spiced orange scents, or whatever you would like.

Time P30DT5m

Yield 2 gift bags

Number Of Ingredients 2

20 pinecones
cinnamon-scented oil

Steps:

  • Spread pine cones on foil-covered cookie sheet and cook at 250 degrees for one hour. This will kill any critters that might be in there.
