SIMPLE DEVILED EGGS



Simple Deviled Eggs image

The eggs are delicious, and it's easy to make more for larger gatherings. I've added onion and celery for a little more flavor and texture.

6 hard-cooked eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
1 pinch paprika, or to taste

Steps:

  • Slice eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks; set whites aside. Mash yolks with a fork in a small bowl. Stir in mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, mustard, salt, onion, and celery; mix well. Stuff or pipe egg yolk mixture into egg whites. Sprinkle with paprika. Refrigerate until serving.

A classic must-have recipe for Thanksgiving dinner!

1 dozen eggs
1-2 tsp mustard
1/4 - 1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup dill pickle relish
1 pinch salt and pepper
paprika to sprinkle on top

Steps:

  • Hard the boil eggs as usual, peel and cut in half.
  • Scoop out the yolk out of the eggs and place them in a bowl.
  • Add all the other ingredients, starting with the least amount of mayo and mustard and add more if needed to get a creamy texture.
  • Mix it well, and give it a taste. If it needs a little more flavor, I like to add a bit of pickle juice.
  • Place the filling back into the eggs.
  • Sprinkle the paprika over the top of all the eggs, as much or as little as you like!

These Easy Deviled Eggs are always a crowd favorite, and for good reason too! They're fast, flavorful, easy to make, and even easier to EAT!

3 TBSP quality mayonnaise
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½-¾ tsp pickle juice ((straight from the jar))
¼ tsp hot sauce
⅛-¼ tsp onion powder ((garlic powder also works if needed))
⅛-¼ tsp salt
⅛ tsp black pepper
sweet paprika ((add a little... or a LOT!))
1-2 TBSP sliced fresh scallions or chives (to garnish (optional but tasty))
