EASY SALTED PEANUT CHEWS
Easy Salted Peanut Chews are chewy bars that have all the flavor of a salted peanut roll candy, but are much easier to make and sure to be a new Holiday favorite at your Nest.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°
- In the bowl of mixer, combine cake mix, 1/3 cup softened butter and egg at low speed until crumbly. Press in bottom of ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for 12-18 minutes or until light golden brown.
- Remove pan from oven; immediately sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven; bake an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows just begin to puff. Cool.
- Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine corn syrup, 1/4 cup butter, vanilla and peanut butter chips; heat until chips are melted and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat; stir in cereal and peanuts. Immediately spoon warm topping over marshmallows; spread to cover. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into bars. Store in covered container.

- Heat oven to 350°F. In ungreased 13x9-inch pan, break up cookie dough. With floured fingers, press dough evenly in bottom of pan to form crust. (DO NOT EAT RAW COOKIE DOUGH AFTER PRESSING DOUGH IN PAN WITH FLOURED FINGERS.) Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately sprinkle marshmallows evenly over crust.

- In 4-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, butter, vanilla and peanut butter chips over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in cereal and peanuts. Immediately spoon warm topping over marshmallows; spread to cover. Refrigerate until firm, about 45 minutes. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 13x9-in. baking pan with foil, letting ends extend up sides; grease foil. In a small bowl, mix flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. These sticky, chewy candies are positively addictive. They'll keep, covered in the refrigerator, for 1 week. They remind me of a candy I had, growing up in Canada, called 'eatmores' or something like that (a LONG time ago). If anyone remembers the name of this candy/confection, I'd love to know it. Steps:
- Butter a large baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the corn syrup, peanut butter and chocolate chips.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Continue stirring constantly while boiling for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, salt, oats and peanuts.
- Scrape mixture into buttered baking dish.
- When cool enough to handle, butter your hands and press mixture evenly into baking dish.
- Refrigerate 3 hours.
- Let sit at room temperature for 25 minutes.
- Heat a sharp knife by dipping it in a tall container filled with hot water and use it to cut peanut chews into squares.
