HONEY-GARLIC SLOW COOKER CHICKEN THIGHS
I have used it often. It's easy and uses pantry staples. Always a hit with adults and kids. Serve with basmati rice or quinoa and steamed or roasted vegetables.

This is one of my favorite slow cooker recipes cause it takes no time to prepare and is soooo good! We usually just serve it with rice and some veg.

Steps:
- Combine cumin, thyme, and paprika in a small bowl and rub chicken thighs with spice mix on all sides.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown chicken on all sides, about 10 minutes. Place chicken in a slow cooker. Cover with chopped garlic.
- Stir honey and mustard together in a small bowl and pour over chicken. Pour in chicken broth and close slow cooker.
- Cook on Low until chicken is cooked through, about 6 hours. Season with salt and pepper.

SLOW-COOKER CHICKEN THIGHS
Soy sauce, honey, garlic and ginger (along with the natural juices of the chicken) become irresistible sauce to serve over chicken thighs and rice. If you like a thicker sauce, simply add cornstarch at the end and cook a little longer.

- Coat the insert of a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray and add the chicken thighs. In a glass measuring cup, whisk together the honey, ketchup, soy sauce, oregano, pepper flakes, garlic and ginger and pour over the chicken. Cover and cook on low until the chicken is cooked through and tender, 5 to 6 hours. Turn off the heat, uncover and let rest for about 10 minutes before serving. The chicken and sauce can be served as-is or, for a thicker sauce, remove the chicken and set aside, covered, to keep warm, then turn the slow cooker to high. Stir the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons cold water together until it resembles heavy cream. Pour the mixture into the sauce, cover and cook until the sauce is thick and bubbling, about 30 minutes. (The mixture must come to a boil to activate the starch and thicken the sauce.) Return the chicken back to the sauce and heat the chicken through, about 5 minutes.
- Transfer the chicken and sauce to a platter, sprinkle with the sesame seeds and scallions and serve hot with rice.
SLOW-COOKER HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN RECIPE BY TASTY

- In a medium bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts directly on the bottom of the slow cooker, sprinkle with a bit of salt, and pour on the honey sauce.
- Cook the chicken for 1½ hours on high.
- Toss in the carrots, broccoli, and bell peppers. Using tongs, mix the chicken and veggies around the slow cooker so that everything is mixed and coated with the honey sauce.
- Cook on high for another 1½ hours.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place, skin-side up, on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes, until the skin is golden and crispy. (optional)
- Serve on plates with the veggies, chicken, and a spoonful of the leftover honey sauce.

This easy slow-cooker chicken dish hits all the right notes with its sweet honey and punchy garlic flavor. We opted to use boneless, skinless thighs instead of leaner chicken breasts because they stay nice and juicy as they cook down in this irresistible sauce.

- Place the chicken thighs in an even layer in the slow cooker.
- Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, crushed red pepper, garlic, ginger, vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil and a few good grinds of black pepper in a large glass measuring cup or a medium bowl until combined. Pour the mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on low until the chicken is cooked through and fork-tender, 6 to 8 hours. (Alternatively, cook the chicken on high for 4 hours.)
- Turn the slow cooker up to high. Whisk together the cornstarch and 2 tablespoons cold water in a small bowl to make a slurry, then mix the slurry into the sauce until combined. Submerging the sauce in the sauce as much as possible. Cover and cook on high until the sauce is thickened to the consistency of a glaze, about 30 minutes.
- Transfer the chicken and sauce to a platter. Sprinkle with the scallions and toasted sesame seeds and serve with white rice.
HONEY GARLIC SLOW COOKER CHICKEN THIGHS

- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. In order for the chicken now to stick, make sure there is a layer of oil over the whole bottom. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the skin of the chicken.
- Place the chicken thighs skin side down into the hot oil. Saute in the oil until the skin is golden brown and some fat has rendered out. Remove the chicken from the pan, let drain on paper towels briefly to get rid of any cooking oil and then place skin side up in the slow cooker.
- Whisk together the sauce ingredients until smooth and combined completely. Pour over the chicken thighs in the slow cooker, making sure to cover the tops of the chicken thighs.
- Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours. Chicken thighs can be overcooked and still delicious and tender!
- Remove the chicken thighs and plate. Use the sauce from the slow cooker on top of the chicken thighs and rice!
