Steps:
- Place the beef cubes and onion slices in the crock pot.
- Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, worcestershire, thyme, basil, celery seed, pepper and salt and pour over meat and onions.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Turn to high. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and then stir into the crock pot.
- Cover and keep on high for 10 minutes.
- Stir again and serve over mashed potatoes or hot buttered egg noodles.

- Spray crock pot with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, mix soups and water together.
- Put about 1/2 cup soup mixture on bottom of crock pot.
- Add 2 steaks; put another 1/2 cup soup mixture on top of steaks.
- Add remaining steaks and rest of soup mixture.
- Lay potatoes on top.
- Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5.

- Cut steak diagonally across the grain into 1/4-inch thick slices. Place steak, mushrooms, onion, mustard, parsley, garlic, salt, dill, and black pepper into a 3-quart slow cooker; stir well.
- Place flour in a small bowl; gradually add broth, stirring with a whisk until blended. Add to slow cooker; stir well. Cover with the lid; cook on High for 1 hour. Reduce heat to Low and cook until steak is tender, 7 to 8 hours.
- Turn slow cooker off and remove lid. Allow stroganoff to stand for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles.

- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
- Put flour into a large, sealable plastic bag; add beef cubes and seal bag. Shake bag to coat beef in flour; transfer beef to a large casserole dish.
- Top beef with sliced onions.
- Whisk water, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar together in a bowl; pour over the onion slices. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
- Bake in preheated oven until the beef is tender enough to pull apart with a fork, about 3 hours.
