HOW TO MAKE SPECIAL EMBUTIDO



How to Make Special Embutido image

Provided by Panlasang Pinoy Recipes

Number Of Ingredients 18

400 g ground pork
1 cup grated carrots
1 garlic (chopped)
1 onion (chopped)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup green peas
1 cup grated cheese
2 whole eggs (beaten)
1/2 cup catsup
3 tbsp bread crumbs
1 cup flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
salt (to taste)
ground pepper (to taste)
4 pcs hotdogs (sliced in half)
3 pcs hard boiled eggs (quartered)
butter (for greasing)
aluminum foil (material needed)

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except for the hotdogs and hard-boiled eggs. Mix well until blended.
  • Grease the aluminum foil with butter.
  • Spread about 6 tbsp of the mixture on the aluminum foil. Place some hotdogs and hard-boiled eggs on the top corner of the mixture.
  • Roll tightly and wrap in the aluminum foil. Seal by twisting both ends.
  • Arrange the embutido rolls in the steamer. Steam for 1 hour.
  • Remove the aluminum foil and slice before serving. You can also fry it if you want. Enjoy your special embutido!

How to Make HOMEMADE Special Embutido image

Number Of Ingredients 16

½ kl ground pork
1 small carrot (minced)
1 eggs
1 cup bread crumbs
1 medium red bell pepper (minced)
1 onion (minced)
5 cloves garlic (minced)
¼ CUP MILK
salt, pepper, and seasoning to taste
¼ cup raisins
¼ cup sweet pickle relish
½ cup grated cheese
Optional FILLING:
Hotdogs
Cheese
Hard-boiled eggs

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl pour the ingredients one by one
  • Mix well until combined
  • Spread margarine on your aluminum foil
  • Then put some embutido mixture
  • Flattened the embutido mixture
  • Add the hotdog, cheese and boiled egg for filling
  • Gently roll and wrap the mixture
  • Seal both ends
  • Arrange in the steamer and steam for 45mins to 1 hr
  • Let it cool before removing the foil
  • Slice and serve with catsup
