Mango Shake image

This recipe comes from Weight Watchers. It is a nice refreshing drink for the summer. It is also wonderful with papaya. Whip up a batch, sit back and chill!

1 cup ice cube
1 large mango, peeled, pitted and chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
mint leaf

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients, except mint, in a blender; blend until smooth.
  • Pour into 2 tall glasses.
  • Garnish each with a mint leaf.

  • In a blender. combine mangoes, milk, cold water, and ice. Process until smooth.

  • In the meantime, add dried mango to a mixing bowl and cover with warm water (don't skip this step or they'll be too tough to blend). Let soak for 5-7 minutes or until soft and pliable but not too soggy. Then drain, lay on a towel, and pat off excess moisture. Set aside.
  • Add pitted dates and soaked, dried mango to the food processor and mix until a rough paste/sticky dough forms.
