Easy and delicious old-fashioned peanut butter candy.

1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups powdered sugar (for candy)
powdered sugar (optional if you want to roll the candy in this.)
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons vanilla

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Place waxed paper on the counter and put half the dough onto the paper.
  • Roll out (like playdough!) into a long snake. Repeat with the second half of the dough.
  • Wrap in the wax paper and refrigerate for 20 minutes (this is optional).
  • Optional: roll the peanut butter roll in powdered sugar. You can also add tiny chocolate chips as a mix-in when making this recipe!)
  • Slice the candy and wrap each piece in a square of wax paper.

1-1/4 pounds white candy coating, coarsely chopped
1-1/2 cups chunky peanut butter

Steps:

  • Line a 9-in. square pan with foil; butter the foil with 1/2 teaspoon butter and set aside. , In a microwave-safe bowl, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Stir in peanut butter until melted. Transfer to prepared pan. Cool to room temperature. Cut into squares.

2 cups white sugar
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
¾ cup milk
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup crunchy peanut butter

Steps:

  • Butter an 8x8x2 inch square pan. Set aside.
  • In a 2 quart saucepan with a candy thermometer inserted, cook sugar, light corn syrup, milk, and salt, until thermometer reads 234 degrees F (112 degrees C). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and peanut butter.
  • Put peanut butter mixture in a large mixing bowl and beat until mixture begins to thicken. Pour into prepared pan. Chill until completely cooled. Cut into squares.

1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
3 cups thawed Cool Whip
45 graham wafers (enough to fix a 9x13 pan)
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate baking squares
3 tablespoons butter

Steps:

  • Pour milk into a large bowl. Add pudding mix and beat with wire whisk 2 min or until well blended. Add peanut butter and mix well. Gently stir in whipped topping.
  • Layer 1/3 of grahams and half of the pudding mixture in a 9x13 pan, breaking grahams if necessary to fit. Repeat layers topping with graham crackers.
  • Microwave chocolate and butter on med heat for 1.5 min, stirring after 1 minute Stir until completely melted and then spread over grahams.
  • Refrigerate at least 8 hours. Store in fridge.

  • Prepare a cupcake tin with 6 liners.
  • Stir peanut butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  • Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of chocolate in the bottom of each cupcake liner.
  • Dollop 1 to 2 teaspoons of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate.
  • Cover each dollop of peanut butter with more chocolate and smooth out the top.

1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate (6 oz.), broken into pieces
3 Tbsp. butter

Steps:

  • Beat pudding mix and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Add peanut butter; mix well. Stir in COOL WHIP. Layer 1/3 of the grahams and half of the pudding mixture in 13x9-inch dish, breaking grahams as necessary to fit. Repeat layers. Top with remaining grahams.
  • Microwave chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted, stirring after 1 min. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Spread over grahams.

2022-03-25 Measure out 1/4 cup Oreo cookie crumbs and set aside. Combine remaining cookie crumbs with butter and mix together. Press crumbs into the bottom of a 9×13" pan. In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and 2 Tablespoons of cold milk until thoroughly mixed together. Add in 1-1/4 cups Cool Whip and mix well.

2018-11-06 1/2 cup peanut butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bring milk and sugar to boil. Cook until syrup forms a soft ball (238°F on a candy thermometer) in cold water in saucer. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Beat well and pour into buttered pan.let cool and cut into pieces. This is a very old recipe from my grandmother.
