This is my copycat version of the popular Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino®! Top each glass with whipped cream and drizzle additional caramel over the whipped cream. Serve with a straw. Leftovers keep well in the refrigerator!

1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
1 cup low-fat milk
⅓ cup caramel sauce
3 tablespoons white sugar

Steps:

  • Blend ice, coffee, milk, caramel sauce, and sugar together in a blender on high until smooth. Pour drink into two 16-ounce glasses.

1 tablespoon instant coffee
2 tablespoons water, divided
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum, optional
1 cup whole milk
4 tablespoons caramel sauce or syrup, plus more for garnish
6 ice cubes
Whipped cream , for garnish

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • In a small dish, add the instant coffee and 1 tablespoon of water. Mix until the coffee is dissolved.
  • In a separate dish, combine the xanthan gum and 1 tablespoon of water, mixing it into a lumpy paste.
  • In a blender , add the instant coffee concentrate, xanthan gum paste, milk, caramel sauce or syrup, and ice cubes.
  • Pulse a few times then blend until smooth.
  • Pour into one or two glasses.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Serve and enjoy.

1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon dry pectin (this is a natural thickener found in the supermarket near the canning supplies, but can be excluded)

Steps:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a pitcher or covered container.
  • Stir or shake until sugar is dissolved.
  • Chill and serve cold.
  • To make the mocha variety, add a pinch of cocoa powder to the mixture before combining.

Tip: For the double strength coffee, I usually take a coffee cup, fill it with cold water, and stir in two spoonfulls of instant coffee. I stir it until all of the coffee grounds are dissolved. My favorite type of instant coffee is Tasters Choice.

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine the simple syrup, toffee syrup, caramel syrup, hazelnut syrup, espresso, milk, chocolate chips, ice, and 1 tablespoon whipped cream. Blend until smooth.
